BIOGRAPHY
Francesco Nardi was born in Pontecorvo on
22 June 1963. Now he lives and works at San
Giovanni Incarico, province of Frosinone,
midway Rome and Naples.
He approached painting in a autodidactic and
autonomous way., after a long series of
travels that ripened his artistic language.:
Athens, Malaga, Istambul, Amsterdam.,
London where the stages of his travelling
until hi arrived in Paris, where he lived for 2
years (1989-90). He was inspired and
stimulated by the climate and culture of
France where he produced his first and rare
figurative compositions and, later, some
colour application paintings that, on coming
back to Italy, he developed and never
abandoned.
His previous interest for psychoanalysis
fostered his paintings art in representing a
world clearly irrelevant to the visible reality.
Than he began personal and group
exhibitions positions both in Italy and
abroad.
In 2000 he went to the United States where
he exhibited his works at the Bush Gallery in
Providence (RI).
On his return to Italy he cooperated with the
art Gallery “Il collezionista” in Tarquinia, and
the Gallery “XXI Secolo” in Padua, where he
sold several paintings.
Three years later one of this pictures was
selected by tha art critic Maurizio Calvesi,
who was the president of the judging
committee in a important painting
competition at the Castello Caietani in Fondi.
His pictures are collected by personages of
the show business too and are present in
public galleries.
He is now experiencing, in his stuy of San
Giovanni Incarico, unorthodox techniques of
applying colours.
